Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Investment Director to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have a robust background in asset management, investment banking, and
private equity, with a proven track record of successful investment strategies and fund
management.
Key Responsibilities:
Investment Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and implement multi-asset allocation strategies, including fixed-income, equity, alternative investments, private equity, and credit investments.
- Oversee distressed debt investments, including recovery and enforcement strategies.
- Manage equity convertible investments and pre-IPO financing.
Fund Management and Fundraising:
- Lead the setup and fundraising efforts for private funds, targeting institutional and high-net- worth investors.
- Manage existing funds, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and achieving targeted returns.
- Prepare and present investment proposals and performance reports to stakeholders.
Private Equity and Credit Investments:
- Identify, evaluate, and execute private equity and credit investment opportunities.
- Conduct thorough due diligence, financial analysis, and risk assessment for potential investments.
- Develop and maintain relationships with private equity and credit investment partners and stakeholders.
Compliance and Oversight:
- Ensure all investment activities comply with the relevant regulatory frameworks, including SFC rules.
- Serve as a Responsible Officer (RO) for type 4 and 9 activities and a Representative for type 1 activities.
Client Relationship Management:
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients and investors.
- Develop new business opportunities and expand the firm's client base.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 9 years of experience in asset management, investment banking, or a related field.
- Proven experience in managing multi-asset investment portfolios and executing complex investment strategies.
- Strong background in private equity, private credit, and special situation investments.
- Experience in setting up and fundraising private investment funds.
- Licensed by the Hong Kong SFC as a Responsible Officer for type 4 and 9 activities and as a
- Representative for type 1 activities.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin; proficiency in Cantonese is a plus.
